The Sierra Amador Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution will be holding a lineage workshop on Thursday, May 1st beginning at 1:30 PM at the Upcountry Community Center in Pine Grove. This workshop will focus on what's involved in getting an application completed for D.A.R. membership.

The Mother Lode Long Term Care Ombudsman is holding a wonderful, informative conference on "Elder Abuse Awareness" at the Jackson Rancheria Conference Center from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Cost of the conference is $40 for the general public and $25 for seniors 60+.
